(TruthandLiberty.com) – Comedian and actor Russel Brand revealed in a new episode of his podcast “Stay Free with Russell Brand” that he has difficulty understanding why freedom-loving Americans would vote for President Joe Biden rather than former President Donald Trump.
During Friday’s episode, where Brand interviewed Elizabeth Pipko, author, model, and spokeswoman for the RNC, discussing wide-ranging topics, including Trump’s trial and conviction.
Brand, who has repeatedly voiced his discontent with the system, shared his opinion on the upcoming election.
The comedian questioned why — given the choice between Biden and Trump — those who “care about freedom” and democracy “could do anything other than vote for Donald Trump.”
He noted that people behave as if voting for Trump “is almost like you’re directly voting for Armageddon,” pointing to “hysterical performances” in front of the Manhattan courtroom and the “endless MSNBC bombast.”
Brand then suggested that he believed the “greater threat to democracy” is the “technological feudalism” that pretended it cares and wants to protect “vulnerable people… while increasing censorship,” war funding, and division among Americans.
The British podcaster explained how he’d become troubled by the “snobbery” and “contempt” liberals showed for Trump supporters, blaming the former President’s opponents for criminalizing him by weaponizing the legal system against him.
He noted that this was occurring while the Biden administration emulated and plagiarized Trump’s policies.
Brand went on to suggest that the “Orwellian nightmare” was more of a threat than Democrats portraying themselves as helping while constantly portraying Trump as a “mad strongman.”
