(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has continued with his presidential poll despite his low polling and the fact that his odds of winning the presidential election are minimal.

President Biden announced on Sunday that he is no longer going to be seeking reelection and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to take over as his replacement on the presidential ticket. Only hours after that announcement Kennedy reiterated that he believes there is a possible chance of victory for a third-party presidential bid.

Both Republicans and Democrats have continued to be confused and worried about the effect that Kennedy’s presidential bid might have on the upcoming election, especially considering the current tumultuous political climate as Biden has dropped out of the presidential race while last week former President Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt.

It is still unclear how Kennedy’s nomination might impact a possible race between Trump and Harris if Harris ends up being selected as the Democratic nominee.

The Hill and Decision Desk HQ has shown that currently, Trump has a wide lead against Harris of 6 points in a three-way matchup where Kennedy is included. In the polls Trump received 43 percent of support, Harris 37 percent, and Kennedy received 6 percent.

The average only examines the total of six polls, showing it is not necessarily considered to be a clear indicator of how the race would go.

Last week, Trump had, according to a leaked phone call, talked with Kennedy and had pushed for him to endorse him. However, a former senior Trump campaign official argued that following the conversation Kennedy appears to be keeping all the options open.
