Republican Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin have shared with the U.S. attorney in charge of the criminal investigation on Hunter Biden over 200 pages of bank records that relate to Biden’s business dealings. Allegedly the documents also show a connection between the Biden family and the Chinese regime.

Fox News Digital got to review the bank records provided. The documents come from Cathay Bank, the oldest operating bank in the U.S. founded by Chinese Americans.

Grassley and Johnson appear to have gained access to these documents as part of their investigation on Hunter Biden. The records show transactions between Biden’s businesses and the Chinese energy firm CEFC. The energy firm is supposed to be closely connected to the Chinese Communist Party.

This is not the first time that these transactions come to light. Previously Grassley and Johnson included them in a 2020 report that aimed to show the connection between the Biden family and foreign governments to exhibit potential “counterintelligence and extortion concerns.”

Grassley and Johnson have particularly been pointing to the transactions with Chinese-linked associates CEFC Chairman Ye Jiangming and Gongwen Dong. As they claim these questionable transactions have led to “millions of dollars” being moved.

In a letter sent to U.S. Attorney for Delaware David Weiss, Grassley and Johnson said that these records are necessary for the thorough investigation of Hunter Biden’s dealings. They also noted that the DOJ had previously failed to hear their concerns over these documents and how they could signify the connections between the Biden family and foreign governments.
