(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Thursday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, put out the full transcripts on Thursday of the high-profile former intelligence officers who had signed the email relating to Hunter Biden’s emails.
In October 2020 following the news relating to Hunter Biden’s laptop, which contained emails and photographs relating to the youngest Biden’s family business activities and lifestyle, 51 former intelligence officials signed an open letter in which they claimed that the laptop had the “earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
Close to four years later, the FBI admitted that the contents of the laptop had been authentic. The transcripts that have been published are from John Brennan the former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director; James Clapper, the former National Intelligence Director; Andrew Makridis, former CIA Chief Operating Officer; Kristin Wood, the former CIA Senior Intelligence Officer; Michael Morell, the former CIA Deputy Director; Marc Polymeropoulus, former CIA Senior Intelligence Officer; Nicholas Shapiro, the former CIA Deputy Chief of Staff; and Nicholas Rasmussen, the former National Counterterrorism Center director.
The transcripts showcase that the intelligence officers had signed the letter dismissing the laptop content without first having known what was actually in the laptop. Many have attempted to absolve their participation in the letter and while acknowledging that the credibility of the letter was based on their role as former intelligence officers they argued that they were writing as private U.S. citizens.
Jordan argued that it is clear that the letter was a rushed statement from the Biden campaign and the 51 former intelligence officers.
