Nancy Pelosi FLIPS OUT After GOP Lawmaker Points Out The Obvious
(TruthandLiberty.com) – Over the last several weeks, parents of infants and young children across the United States braced as baby formula started disappearing from grocery store shelves. The situation is emblematic of supply chain issues gripping the Biden administration over the last year, except this time, the problem could be life-threatening. On Friday, May 13, House Republican Conference chairwoman Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) placed the blame for the baby food crisis at President Joe Biden’s feet. While American babies don’t have baby formula, Stefanik said Biden’s sending pallets of baby formula to the southern border.
Joe Biden continues to put America LAST by shipping pallets of baby formula to the southern border as American families face empty shelves.
This is unacceptable.

On Sunday, May 15, ABC host George Stephanopoulos asked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) about Stefanik’s tweet. Pelosi got agitated and called the New York Republican’s comment irresponsible. Pelosi said babies are crying from hunger, and the government needs to get them food. In addition, the Speaker said the Women’s, Infants, and Children’s (WIC) program needed to loosen its restrictions to help parents, and the government needed to make it easier to get baby formula from overseas. Pelosi also blamed the crisis on supply chains.

Still, Pelosi didn’t directly refute Stefanik’s assertion that the government was shipping baby formula to the southern border. On Friday, the Biden administration acknowledged the formula was on the way to the southern border for illegal immigrants. The administration said it was the moral thing to do despite American babies suffering from the supply shortages.
