(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Former President Barack Obama has had many meetings with President Biden in which they have discussed how their legacy can be protected from a possible second Trump administration.
On Monday, New York Magazine published a story in which it provided insight into the “secret” meetings of the two presidents during which they have been discussing how they can save the 2024 presidential elections.
One of Obama’s friends even revealed that the former President was facing “anxiety” over the election and that these are similar concerns to the ones expressed by other top Democrats.
New York Magazine has noted that those who are talking with Obama on a regular basis have stated that his concerns are not because of any animosity towards Biden but rather it is caused by the fractured political scene in the United States right now.
Obama has also appeared careful to not make any criticisms of Biden or his campaign as he knows that any such reporting would not be beneficial to the Democratic Party. Still, the New York Magazine sources noted that the former President thinks that it is going to be a close race in 2024 and that there is a real possibility of Trump winning.
Obama had originally kept his distance from the Biden 2020 campaign, however, he later on came as an important surrogate to the campaign. He was particularly instrumental in helping a group of tech tycoons build out the online operations of President Biden. He later also got director Steven Spielberg to assist in the programming of Biden’s convention production.
