(TruthandLiberty.com) – Things are not going well for the Biden administration, and many Democrats can’t understand why. On Sunday, April 3, two-time failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said she didn’t understand the disconnect between the accomplishments of the Biden administration and Congress. Clinton added Democrats simply needed to message better. On Monday morning, former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich pushed back on the 2016 presidential candidate.
Gingrich told Fox & Friends Democrats have a massive problem: Almost all of their policies are either failures or unpopular. He said they refuse to change their positions for fear it will rile up the Left. Taking on Hillary Clinton directly, the former speaker said Democrats really believe it’s a messaging problem food and gasoline coats continue to rise. He added Biden looks silly on the world stage, and Vice President Kamala Harris may not be the brightest person to serve in her position.
Gingrich stated when the administration attacks the oil and energy industries, they shouldn’t be shocked when gas prices rise. He said the Biden administration might be the most out-of-touch presidency in modern history.
According to a recent NBC poll, there may not be much Democrats can do to change their November fortunes. The enthusiasm gap between Democrats and Republicans is the worst for Democrats in decades. Republicans hold a 17-point advantage. The last time that happened was 2010 when Republicans captured over 60 seats to take back the House.
What do you think? Is Gingrich’s assessment about Democrats being out of touch correct?
