(TruthandLiberty.com) – Many people say politics is a full-contact sport. It’s not for the weak of heart or those who get their feelings hurt easily. People who enter politics often have a strong passion for issues and advocate ferociously for them. It’s highly personal, and once someone steps out from behind the walls of decency and attacks another member of Congress, relationships can devolve quickly.
Perhaps no two members of Congress are more controversial or have exchanged more personal attacks than Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). Both speak their minds, and neither holds back. The two feud often.
'She was a bartender.' Bombastic Georgia congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene apparently attacks @AOC's intelligence for slinging drinks after graduating with honors from Boston University. https://t.co/AkiEmzCzSl

On Sunday, February 20, Greene blasted AOC as the radical Green New Deal architect. She said the Democratic socialist acts like she’s smarter than everyone else. In a jab insinuating her lack of intelligence, Greene reminded the audience her rival was a bartender before she won election to Congress.
Over the last several years, AOC has made some statements that defy common sense, economic theory and reality. Her ideology may trump her intelligence, but she does hold a degree from Boston University in International Relations and Economics. Still, AOC’s provocative left-wing worldview invites Greene to mock her as someone who isn’t all that intelligent about the economy or economics despite her education.
So, what do you think? Do AOC’s left-wing worldview and controversial statements invite mockery?
