(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Tuesday, a new court record revealed that following the August FBI search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, other classified documents were also found in his bedroom on the property.
This information was included in the filing that is related to a different legal battle Trump has requested from the judge handling his mishandling of classified documents to have the case dismissed. The records were unsealed for the first time as prosecutors made their case in front of a grand jury in D.C.
As part of the case, they included Judge Beryl Howell’s decision as he was the one to oversee the proceedings. This new information indicates that on January 2023, Trump had most likely received another subpoena which prompted his legal team to hand over a folder that was marked as “’Classified Evening Summary.’”
Howell in her decision had claimed that she was in disbelief about how Trump was unaware that there were classified documents still in their home following the FBI raid of his home which had taken place in August 2022.
She argued that there had not been any excuse given on how Trump had not known about the classified documents that had been found within his bedroom. In the case, it is noted that prosecutors are alarmed by how many different locations within the property where the classified documents have been found.
Howell in her opinion also points out his role in concealing information from his attorney while calling for Walt Nauta to move the documents to the storage room boxes in order to hide them from Corcoran.
