(TruthAndLiberty.com) – A Fox News Digital report has noted that it is confirmed that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif. is going to inform House GOP members that voting to launch an impeachment inquiry against President Biden was the “logical next step.”
On Thursday morning House Republicans have a planned meeting where key committee chairs are going to present the latest findings and evidence they have gathered in the probes into the Biden family’s foreign business activities. The meeting is going to be led by Reps. James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, and Jim Jordan, the House Judiciary Committee Chairman.
McCarthy is planning to announce during the meeting that launching the impeachment inquiry was the most logical step for the House Republicans to take. The inquiry is the first part in the impeachment process and it allows for additional evidence to be gathered in order for them to determine the charges and the articles of impeachment that will be brought forward against the official in question.
On Wednesday morning the House Republicans are also going to have their regularly scheduled meeting in which the party’s leadership is going to outline what the priorities of the party for this week will be.
Sources had previously revealed that GOP members were preparing to launch an impeachment inquiry this month. Three different Republican-led committees have all been looking into the allegations that President Biden had not only known but had been involved in his son Hunter Biden’s business. Sources have also revealed that Hunter Biden had often used his father’s position as the then-Vice President in order to secure several business deals.
