(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Vice President Kamala Harris, in a newly released video, stated that former President Donald Trump had chosen Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, as his vice presidential pick as he could act like a “rubber stamp” for the “extreme agenda” that Trump was pushing forward.

The video was released ahead of Wednesday’s appearance and speech by Vance at the Republican National Convention where he is set to accept the position. Trump became the official Republican nominee on Monday and proceeded to announce that Vance was his pick for running mate. In the video Harris argued that Trump was searching for the person who would act as the “rubber stamp for his extreme agenda.”

She continued by arguing that Vance was not going to be loyal to the United States but rather that he would be loyal to the former President.

Following Vance’s nomination, Harris and him had a brief conversation on the phone after Harris had left him a voicemail congratulating him.

Harris has also slammed Vance for stating, earlier this year during an ABC News interview, that he would not have certified the 2020 election results until after the states had submitted pro-Trump electors if he had been the vice president at the time. During the interview, he claimed to believe the unsubstantiated claims of election fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

Harris pointed out that unlike former Vice President Mike Pence, Vance would have helped Trump with his plan to overturn the 2020 presidential election. She also noted that Vance supported a national abortion ban and was against establishing protection for IVF.
