John Fetterman Claims Sanctuary Cities Are Safer

Dem Candidate Pushes Insane Idea In His Race For The Senate

( – In Pennsylvania’s closed May primary elections, voters approved Lt. Gov. John Fetterman (D-PA) and Dr. Mehmet Oz (R-PA) to square off this fall. Both are vying for the open US Senate seat vacated by Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA). Fetterman is a far-left Democrat known for making outrageous comments. He’s apparently showing off his liberal pedigree once again in advocating for sanctuary cities. The question is, will Oz take advantage of the gaffe?

This isn’t the Lt. Gov.’s first time running for Senate. In 2016, a video clip of the candidate showed him speaking before a crowd at West Chester University. He claimed that not allowing illegal immigrants into the US was un-American. The liberal candidate said he fully supports sanctuary cities, which he insists make the country safer. The Democrat added that unlawful migrants commit fewer crimes than those born in the US without recognizing they were here illegally.

On Thursday, July 28, Oz released his first TV ad against the Democrat, using his comments about sanctuary cities against him. The celebrity doctor’s political campaign office released a letter sporting signatures from 13 Pennsylvanian Republican county sheriffs. The note called on the liberal opponent to clarify his views regarding reducing prison numbers and legalizing illicit drugs.

On Tuesday, July 2, Fetterman’s campaign said he supports a citizenship pathway for illegal immigrants.
