(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Former President Donald Trump’s niece Mary Trump, has stated that Ivanka Trump is going to use her testimony in the New York civil trial to throw her father “under the bus.”
Mary Trump who is one of Donald Trump’s biggest critics, sent a video exclusive to those subscribed to her newsletter in which she previewed the trial. She was joined in the video by reporter Molly Jong-Fast.
This week it has been scheduled that both Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, who are the former President’s two adult sons, are going to be testifying before the court. The two are also mentioned as parties in New York Attorney General Leticia James’ lawsuit which alleges that the company had defrauded banks and insurance companies by inflating the value of their assets to achieve more beneficial deals. The value of their assets would then be lowered in order for them to benefit from better taxation.
Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, had previously been one of the parties in the lawsuit, however, the case against her was dismissed by a New York appeals court in June. Since then her legal team has argued that the AG office did not have the jurisdiction to subpoena her or require her to testify. Still, Judge Arthur Engoron, who is presiding over the case ruled that she was required to testify. This ruling has been appealed by her lawyers.
Mary Trump argued that all of the Trump children will be walking “a very thin line” between appeasing their father and “obfuscating” without committing perjury.
