Donald Trump participated in a Michigan rally on Saturday night to increase Republican support within the state. The former President started with a message for those who have been hit by Hurricane Ian before then starting with his regular programming on issues and his baseless allegations that the 2020 elections had been stolen.
The event which took place at the Macomb County Community College Sports and Expo Center in Warren lasted about an hour and 40 minutes. During the event, Trump also criticized the FBI for their raid of his Mar-a-Lago home and said that those who were part of the House select committee investigating the January 6 riot were “sick, sick, people.” He also added that they were the greatest threat to the U.S.
He also offered his praise to Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. These comments about Thomas came right after he referred to the allegations of a rigged and stolen presidential election.
He also spoke about “radical Democrats” who support abortion and want to rig babies right out of their mother’s wombs.
Trump then criticized Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who had previously been critical of Trump during his time in office.
Finally, he teased another potential presidential bid in the upcoming 2024 elections.
