GOP Closes In On Biden Crime Family With Stunning New Investigation

Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) issued a report in September 2020, revealing potential issues regarding millions of dollars in questionable transactions between President Joe Biden’s son, foreign governments hostile to the United States, and foreign businesses. Since then, questions have arisen about Joe Biden’s role in his son’s dealings as the Department of Justice investigates the president’s son on suspicions of money laundering and tax evasion.
On Wednesday, May 25, GOP House members wrote to the US Treasury Department seeking information related to Hunter Biden’s and other Biden family members’ finances. According to CBS News, House Committee on Oversight and Reform Ranking Member James Comer wants to know if Hunter Biden’s business dealings compromised national security and President Biden’s impartiality.

The Wall Street Journal reported the probe isn’t going anywhere so long as Democrats control Congress. If polling proves correct, the GOP will likely take the majority in both chambers in the November midterm elections. Should Republicans win, their research right now could lead to hearings and subpoenas in 2023. Comer noted Republicans are laying the groundwork, so they are ready to use the power of Congress to investigate right out of the gate.
The White House declined to comment.
