(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Tuesday, Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) argued that TikTok, a social media platform, was creating a “warped” perception of the Israel-Hamas war.
During an interview on CNN’s “The Lead” Fetterman was asked about what had caused the division within the Democratic Party over the handling of the Israel-Hamas war. In response, Fetterman argued that he did not know, but it appeared that there were many people whose views on this were being built from TikTok. He added that anyone who is getting their world perspective on TikTok was guaranteed to have a warped view of reality that is not reflective of history or reality.
Following the Oct. 7, Hamas attack against Israel, Fetterman has continued to express his support for Israel. He has also pointed out that Hamas is responsible for the violence in Gaza, as Israel has been running a campaign to eliminate Hamas from the region.
The Gaza Health Ministry which is run by Hamas has reported that since the start of the attack against Gaza, there have been a total of 19,000 people that have lost their lives. Fetterman pointed out that it is clear that this entire situation had started from Hamas. He also pointed out that the group was the one to break the cease-fire.
Fetterman further claimed that it was clear that prior to the attack on Oct. 7, Israel had wanted peace and that it was Hamas who did not allow for that to happen. He added that peace was not possible so long as Hamas was still active.
