(TruthandLiberty.com) – On January 21, 2021, President Biden’s first day in office, the Biden administration began reversing former President Donald Trump’s immigration policies. The results have been catastrophic. In 2021, the Border Patrol apprehended nearly 2 million illegal immigrants from approximately 150 countries along the southern border — more than double the number of arrests from 2019.

Making matters worse, border officials detected an additional 600,000 illegal immigrants who crossed the border but got away. The incident prompted former acting commissioner of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Mark Morgan to declare that the United States has lost control of the southwest border. Morgan said the 600,000 who got away are the equivalent of the population of Vermont.
Along with the incursions into America by illegal immigrants, fentanyl and other drugs flowed into the country, resulting in skyrocketing overdose deaths. Morgan said what we see on the border isn’t a surge. It’s an invasion as the administration tells border patrol agents to stop protecting the border and become daycare providers, processing agents and bus drivers.
Morgan added that there is no end to the illegal immigration crisis as the administration learns to get better at releasing migrants instead of stopping them. The former acting head of the Border Patrol said the Biden administration is creating a sanctuary country while demolishing immigration law to make illegal immigrants legal.
