Now, it appears the leader of the far-Left squad is channeling the president. On Friday, March 18, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) condescendingly whispered an odd and creepy refrain about capitalism and socialism on Instagram.
AOC’s video was her way of countering accusations she’s a socialist. Perhaps her creepy whisper was meant to come off as telling her subscribers a secret? If so, it failed miserably. The Democratic socialist claimed most people don’t even know what socialism is, and they aren’t even capitalists because they don’t have any “capitalist money.” She alleged the only way to be a capitalist is to be a billionaire.

According to Merriam-Webster, capitalism is an economic system characterized by ownership of goods, investments made by private decisions, and driven by a free market. So, what does that have to do with being a billionaire?
Commenters across social media roasted AOC for her tone and substance. House Republican candidate and Air Force Veteran Dr. Mariela Roca (R-MD) asked why the Left has a bad habit of using a condescending whisper? Shouldn’t she talk to Americans like an ordinary person? She wasn’t alone. Professor Gad Saad tweeted a mock well-wishing America good luck.
So, will Americans get more whispers in the days ahead of the November midterm elections?
