CCP Will Stop At NOTHING To Maintain Total Power
(TruthandLiberty.com) – Over the last two years, the Chinese government has enacted some of the harshest COVID-19 lockdowns in the world to mitigate the spread of the virus. The government established specific rules for individuals and businesses, with a zero-tolerance policy against offenders. Around June 9, Beijing experienced its latest COVID outbreak. Now, government officials are cracking down on companies for violating their lockdown rules.
On Sunday, June 19, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Urban Management and Law Enforcement began harassing local businesses over their lack of mitigation efforts. The Global Times, a Chinese-based news outlet, said the government agency investigated 3,500 local businesses. Among them were shopping malls, restaurants, and commercial buildings.

The Global Times said officials handed over the cases to local officials to enforce punishments that could include warnings, fines, or business closures for lacking proper epidemic prevention. On Tuesday, officials said 44 companies in the Chaoyang district in Beijing violated government protection orders for failing to require masks and not scanning QR health codes to determine whether individuals were healthy enough to be in the business establishment. A government smartphone app issues a green health code when the user’s latest COVID test is negative.
The Times also noted that on June 18, Chinese officials reported no new symptomatic COVID-19 cases in Beijing. Are the efforts paying off, or is the communist government trying to save face?
