“Brandon Falls” Label Placed on Google Maps Where Biden Fell off Bike

Internet Buries Hidden Insult For Biden Where He Least Expects It

(TruthandLiberty.com) – In 2021, the “Let’s Go Brandon” moniker took on a life of its own. NBC News reporter Kelli Stavast had mistakenly told NASCAR Xfinity Series race winner Brandon Brown the crowd was cheering the slang term when in reality, they were chanting “F— Joe Biden.” Now, it appears the saying has taken on new life. On Tuesday, July 19, Google Maps showed the site where Joe Biden fell off his bicycle as “Brandon Falls.”

The site, located in Cape Henlopen State Park, Delaware, was where President Biden stopped to speak briefly with reporters and pedestrians in June. He fell off his bicycle when his foot stuck in the pedestal toe clip. Now, the spot is an unofficial landmark. It’s unclear who created the “Brandon Falls” designation on Google Maps.

Snopes went out of its way to note that Brandon Falls was a fictitious map point; Google allows users to create public landmarks. By Tuesday evening, Fox News reported that the reference was no longer available. However, on Wednesday afternoon, it was back. The site received 84 reviews, mostly mocking Biden or adding a twist of humor. The new tourist attraction received 4.9 out of 5 stars on Google Maps.

So, what do you think? Will the new designation stick? Will tourists visit the site and draw untold dollars to the local economy?
