(TruthandLiberty.com) – President Joe Biden and his family business dealings with China led to many questions before the 2020 election. While the issue is on the back burner, it’s not entirely forgotten — especially when a nominee comes before the Senate with questionable issues related to the Chinese media.
Biden’s extremist pick to run the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) brings new concerns to the forefront. David Chipman is a former ATF agent who’s also a major gun control extremist. Chapman’s on record acknowledging he would prefer to ignore the Second Amendment. So, what did he do now?
Asked by USA Today's Joey Garrison about the nomination of David Chipman to lead the ATF, Jen Psaki blames Republicans for the spike in crime across the country, saying they're "handcuff[ing] the chief federal law enforcement agency tasked with fighting gun crimes." pic.twitter.com/uA1LQBm6lB

All presidential nominees are required to submit questionnaires to the US Senate prior to committee hearings. One question asks the nominees to share with the Senate where a candidate gave media interviews and provide some media quotes. Chapman provided sources but left a crucial bit of information off his questionnaire.
In the wake of the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting, the ATF nominee gave an interview to Chinese state television, China Global Television Network (CGTN). Knowingly or not, Chapman’s interview railing about gun violence in the United States became part of China’s propagandist effort as the communist country downplayed a serial stabbing event.
When it comes to Biden and his administration, it’s one more question regarding China that needs addressing.
