Axios released a new report showing that some of President Biden’s advisers and staff recognize that his age is a possible liability.

The piece covers the potential problems that American people have with Biden’s age. The President is going to be 82 by the time he starts his second term in the White House if he wins the 2024 election. According to the report even some of his “close advisers” have admitted that there were challenges that come with his age. Some have also pointed out that his age has “diminished his energy,” and “limited his schedule.”

Some aides even compared Biden to an “aging king” pointing out that his staff was working to protect him, which is why his staff do “not take chances” with his safety.

The report was published on Friday and opened up with a question about whether, whose second term would end when he is 86, has the capacity to run the White House until that age. This is a staff that the White House often tries to avoid and dodge questions about, despite the unknowns that surround the possibility of Biden who will be in his mid-80s entering those later years “with more power than anyone on earth.”

In order to help mitigate some of these unknowns the White House is ensuring that Biden is never placed in improvisational settings, or has to deal with any hostile reporters. This means that most people outside of the President’s bubble are not going to be able to “truly appraise” his abilities to serve as President.
