Biden Crushes What’s Left Of Trump’s Empire
(TruthandLiberty.com) – Policy between the United States and Cuba appears to be changing. On May 16, the State Department issued a press statement indicating the Biden Administration’s desire to expand support to the Cuban people. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says lifting Trump-era restrictions on flights to the Cuban interior supports the people of Cuba and the “foreign policy interests of the United States.” Former President Donald Trump had placed strict travel restrictions on Americans traveling to the country, allowing flights in and out of Havana exclusively.
The Biden Administration’s decision to lift the rule will enable airlines and charter flight companies to travel to other destinations inside Cuba. The administration touted the abilities to engage with the Cuban people, attend meetings, and conduct joint research as potential boons for both countries. The move could lead to what amounts to tourism, a strictly sanctioned activity for US citizens on the small island nation.
They love the dictatorship in Cuba and hate the current governorship of Florida.

The communist regime has long complained about American embargos, although presidents like former President Barack Obama and current President Joe Biden did make some progress against the restrictions.
The administration also plans to lift a cap on money sent to Cuba by friends, family, and business associates. The Trump-era rule effectively shut down the huge cash transfer to the country from refugees working in the US and shipping funds back home. If that wasn’t enough, the Cuban Family Reunification Parole (CFRP) Program, which Trump also suspended, will resume seeking consular services and visa processing for more than 20,000 people.
It would seem that the Biden administration seems interested in adding more issues to the current immigration crisis than solving the current backlog. Should the US be easing restrictions on Cuba right now? Let us know what you think.
