(TruthandLiberty.com) – How many lies can President Biden and his team tell before enough is enough? During the first eight months of Joe Biden’s presidency, everyone in the administration declared they could not and would not mandate a COVID-19 vaccination for citizens.
They tried other means, such as shaming people and trying to convince businesses to act as their informal vaccination police force, but they stopped short of a government mandate. Now, that’s all changed.
.@BerkeleyJr To clarify: There will be no nationwide mandate. I was referring to mandates by private institutions and portions of the federal government. There will be no federal mandate.

Recently, Biden tasked the small and under-funded Occupational Safety and Health Administration with ensuring that every worker in America is vaccinated. The mandate goes against the grain of Biden orthodoxy over the last ten months.
In December 2020, then-President-Elect Joe Biden said that vaccine mandates were not the way to go. In May, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters that she wouldn’t anticipate vaccine requirements on employers. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky added that the government wasn’t depending on vaccine mandates to fight COVID-19.
It keeps going. In July, Psaki said the government didn’t have the power to mandate vaccinations. Walensky again stated there would be no federal government mandate. Even Surgeon General Vivek Murthy chimed in and agreed with Walensky. White House COVID-19 Response Director, Jeff Zients, reaffirmed that the government wasn’t exploring a mandate as an option. In August, Dr. Anthony Fauci said the federal government wouldn’t initiate a central order.
Weeks later, Biden announced the OSHA mandate. So, what happened? On the surface, officials lied. Under the surface, the picture may be more nefarious. Regardless, the administration knew for some time this was coming. No one decides something this consequential on a whim.
