(TruthAndLiberty.com) – President Joe Biden and the White House faced significant online criticism for their Pride Month Display at the White House on Sunday. Many people claimed that the display violated the U.S. Flag Code, specifically regarding the placement of the American flag.
On Saturday, President Biden posted a message on Twitter in celebration of the LGBT+ community, revealing a display where a rainbow-colored flag was positioned between two American flags on the South Lawn. Twitter users quickly pointed out that this arrangement appeared to disregard the U.S. Flag Code, which requires the American flag to be the central flag in any display featuring multiple flags.
Tom Fitton, the President of Judicial Watch, argued that President Biden’s decision to prioritize the “transgender agenda targeting children” led to the violation of the U.S. Flag Code and disrespected American service members buried under the flag.
Other individuals on social media also highlighted the U.S. Flag Code ยง7. (e), which states that the American flag should be placed at the center or the highest point in displays featuring multiple flags.
As of now, the White House has not issued a response to the criticisms regarding the display.
The Pride Month celebration at the White House on Saturday included performances and featured speakers who expressed support for the LGBTQ+ cause. They praised members of the community, describing them as courageous and inspiring individuals who serve as an example not only for the country but also for the rest of the world.
