(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Following the speculations that former president Donald Trump is going to be indicted in Georgia in connection to the probe into his efforts to overturn the state’s election results, barricades were placed outside of a courtroom in Georgia.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office also confirmed that they were working with both state and federal agencies to make sure that the area would remain secure during the “high-profile legal proceedings.” The grand jury is set to soon make a decision on whether or not charges are going to be filed in connection to Fulton County Attorney General Fani Willis’ investigation into Trump’s case.

Trump, who is the 2024 Republican primary race front runner, is already facing a number of legal troubles and cases. He has also repeatedly reaffirmed that he did not commit any wrongdoings that are connected to Willis’ investigation and have claimed that the probe is part of a “witch hunt” and that it is entirely politically motivated.

On Thursday, Special Counsel Jack Smith filed a superseding indictment against Trump adding to the 37 counts that he already pleaded not guilty to associated with his alleged mishandling of classified documents. It is also speculated that Trump is going to be charged in connection to Smith’s investigation into his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack.

He was also indicted earlier this year in New York in connection to a case about him having allegedly falsified business records in connection to a “hush money” payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
