(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Larry Elder, a long-shot 2024 GOP presidential candidate announced on Thursday that he was withdrawing from the presidential race and endorsing former President Donald Trump’s third bid for the White House.

In his statement, Elder thanked his supporters for their efforts and enthusiasm. He added that after assessing the state of his campaign and the race he decided that it was the right decision to suspend his presidential campaign. He added that while this was a “difficult decision” he believed that the biggest issues in the U.S. right now include the “crisis of fatherlessness” and the lie that there was systemic racism in America. He added that it was necessary for the Constitution to be amended in order for federal spending to be limited to a fixed percentage of the GDP. He further called for the removal of all the District Attorneys all across the country that were backed by billionaire Soros.

He then stated that he was hopeful that his campaign had helped shine a light on all of these issues and had brought to the forefront important conversations that they needed to have.

Elder, who works as a conservative talk radio host, had announced that he would be running for the White House in April. When he entered the race he claimed to have had a “moral, religious and a patriotic duty” to place a bid for the White House.

In August, Elder had threatened that he would sue the Republican National Committee (RNC) over their decision to block him from joining the first Presidential debate as he did not meet the two requirements set for all the candidates. Elder had alleged that the threshold was a purposeful attempt to silence him.
